Organizations let teams manage projects, billing, and members in one centralized place.
What is an Organization?
An Organization is a team workspace in Lucky 7 that provides:
- Centralized billing - One subscription for all team members
- Member management - Add/remove users and control permissions
- Shared resources - Boards, content, and assets accessible to team
- Usage tracking - Monitor team activity and costs
- Role-based access - Control what each member can do
Creating an Organization
Step 1: Navigate to Organizations
Click your profile icon → Organizations → Create Organization
Step 2: Enter Organization Details
- Organization Name - Your company or team name
- Slug - URL-friendly identifier (e.g.,
my-team)
- Description (optional) - What your org does
Step 3: Choose Plan
Select a subscription plan for your organization:
- Pro Organization - For small teams (2-10 members)
- Enterprise Organization - For larger teams (10+ members)
Step 4: Set Up Billing
Enter payment information for the organization subscription.
Step 5: Invite Members
Add team members by email address and assign roles.

Member Management
Adding Members
- Go to Organizations → [Your Org] → Members
- Click Invite Member
- Enter email address
- Select role (Admin, Member, or Viewer)
- Click Send Invitation
Members receive an email invitation to join.
Member Roles
Owner
- Full organization control
- Manage billing and subscriptions
- Add/remove any member
- Delete organization
- Access all boards and content
Admin
- Manage members (add/remove)
- Create and manage teams
- Access all boards and content
- View usage and analytics
- Cannot manage billing or delete org
Member
- Create boards and content
- Collaborate on shared boards
- Access team boards
- Use organization usage pool
- Cannot manage members or billing
Viewer
- View organization boards (read-only)
- See team activity
- No creation permissions
- Cannot edit or manage anything
Removing Members
- Go to Members page
- Find the member
- Click Remove
- Confirm removal
Note: Removed members lose access immediately. Their created content remains with the organization.
Seat Management
What are Seats?
A seat is one user spot in your organization. Pro Organizations purchase seats (2-10), while Enterprise has unlimited.
Purchasing Additional Seats
- Go to Organization → Billing
- Click Manage Seats
- Enter number of seats to add
- Confirm purchase
Pricing: Per-seat pricing based on your plan.
Seat Usage
Active Seats: Filled by invited members
Available Seats: Empty spots ready for new members
Total Seats: Your organization's capacity
Reducing Seats
Can only reduce seats at the end of your billing period:
- Remove members first (must have empty seats)
- Go to Billing → Manage Seats
- Request seat reduction
- Change applies at period end

Monthly Subscription:
- Base price + (seats × per-seat price)
- Charged monthly on billing anniversary
- Automatic renewal
Example Pro Org Pricing:
- 5 seats × $X/seat = $Total/month

Organization usage is shared across all members:
- Total pool = per-seat limits × number of seats
- Any member can use from the pool
- Resets at start of billing period

Managing Organization Boards
Shared Boards
Boards created by organization members are automatically shared with:
- All organization members (default)
- Specific teams (if configured)
- Public (if made public)
Board Ownership
- Creator owns the board
- Admins and Owner can access all boards
- Members access depends on sharing settings
Transferring Boards
Move boards between organizations:
- Open board
- Settings → Transfer Ownership
- Select destination organization
- Confirm transfer

Leaving or Deleting an Organization
Leaving an Organization (Member)
- Go to Organization Settings
- Click Leave Organization
- Confirm action
Your boards stay with the organization.
Deleting an Organization (Owner)
- Remove all members
- Cancel subscription
- Go to Settings → Delete Organization
- Type organization name to confirm
- Click Delete Permanently
Warning: This action is irreversible. All organization data, boards, and content will be deleted.
