Understanding Limits
Tokens
What are tokens?
- Measure of AI text processing
- 1 token ≈ 4 characters
- 100 tokens ≈ 1 paragraph
What uses tokens:
- Chat messages
- Story generation
- Text-to-image prompts (minimal)
- AI refinements
Images
What counts:
- Each generated image = 1 unit
- Generating 4 images = 4 units
- All models count equally toward limit
- Upscaling doesn't count extra
Videos
What counts:
- Each video generation = 1 unit
- Duration doesn't affect count (for limits)
- All models count equally
- Failed generations don't count
Audio
What counts:
- Measured in minutes
- 30-second voice = 0.5 minutes
- Voice cloning = ~1 minute per clone
- Text-to-speech varies by length

Green (0-50%): Plenty of room
Yellow (50-80%): Plan remaining usage
Orange (80-95%): Approaching limit

When Limits Reset
- Start of each billing period
- Same date each month
- Example: Signed up Jan 15 → Resets Feb 15
What Resets
- Token count → 0
- Image count → 0
- Video count → 0
- Audio minutes → 0

- Your generated content (saved forever)
- Unused limits don't roll over
